About Next Impact Europe
Unveiled this month at VivaTech 2026, Next Impact Europe is a premier platform founded by Paris-based venture capital investor 4P Capital and impact ecosystem builder Impact Shakers. The initiative was created to spotlight exceptional impact-driven startups led by founders from diverse backgrounds who are tackling Europe’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges.
The selection process was intensely competitive:
- 520 nominations representing 474 unique companies were submitted across 35 countries.
- Over 270 ecosystem leaders, including investors, accelerators, and universities, participated in the vetting process.
- Only 50 pioneering companies across 13 countries made the final inaugural cohort.
